2. Venue Directory (From Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport to NTNU Library Campus):

(1) By Taxi:

You may catch a taxi which can be identified by its yellow color at the exit of the airport terminal building and indicate to the driver that you are traveling to NTNU Library Campus located in Taipei City (國立臺灣師範大學圖書館校區). Fare from the Airport to NTNU Library Campus is around NTD1000 to NTD1200. Most drivers do not speak English, so it is better to have your destination’s name in Chinese, along with the projected cost of the trip. You may show the following Chinese address of NTNU Library Campus to the driver if necessary. Upon arrival, you can then walk to the conference venue (i.e. International Conference Center, or ICC) or the housing venues (i.e. NTNU Guest House or NTNU Campus Inn) on foot by following the campus map below.

(2) By the Airport MRT plus Taipei Metro:

You may find way to the Airport MRT by following the “Taoyuan Airpot MRT” sign. The ticket can can be purchased at Token Issuing Machines or Information Counter. Fare from Airport Terminal Station to Taipei Main Station is NTD160 per person. The travel time for the express train is 36 mins and the price is the same as the commuter train, whose travel time will be 50 mins. Below is the English route map for your reference.

After you arrive at Taipei Main Station, follow the sign indicating “Taipei Metro (Red Line).” You will walk along a long corridor; then pass by the railway station and high speed railway station. Keep following the sign indicating “MRT Taipei Main Station (Red Line)” and you will find the escalator and elevator heading toward the platform. This takes around 5-10 mins.

Before entering the fare gate, you can buy the ticket at Token Issuing Machines or Information Counter. After arriving at the Red Line platform of MRT Taipei Main Station (Click to see the route map.):
a. Catch the train at the platform heading towards Xiangshan or Daan Station direction.
b. After two stops, transfer at CKS Memorial Hall Station (R08/G10) for the Green Line.
c. Catch the train heading for Xindian or Taipower Building Station direction. (It’s just on the opposite platform at the same floor.) After one stop, please get off at Guting Station (G09).
d. For NTNU Library Campus, please take exit 5. Walk alongside Heping East Road Sec. 1, and you will arrive in around 8 mins.
